WILLEMSTAD, ORANJESTAD - The realization of a ferry between the ABC islands is a step closer. This is according to the Aruban Member of Parliament Andin Bikker. According to the Aruban MP, the feasibility study is now ready. This report will soon be handed over to the States and after the recess to the government. Besides studying the possibilities for such a so-called fast ferry between Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, the committee doing the research also considered a connection to the Windward Islands. A single trip by boat from island to island will cost around ten dollars according to Bikker. The trip with the car should cost about 25 dollars.
